Alright so it’s Monday. We’ve had a weekend to digest or ignore the torrent of news that’s dumped on us on an hourly basis. So should we go over what news I ate?
Twasn’t a good Monday for Team Trump if you believe in reality.
A federal judge ordered Supreme Leader Cheeto Supreme’s accounting firm to hand tax returns over to NY state investigators. However the Orange Taz in Chief is surely going to appeal this to the Supreme Court. Because nothing screams “I did nothing wrong” quite like appealing a case to the supreme court in order to hide your Tax returns. If Mr. Propeciadent actually did anything wrong, why would he be trying so hard to hide anything from being released. The logic of his defenders is iron clad.
Let’s see, transcripts of Closed-door depositions of four white house officials were released. Needless to say the transcripts corroborated the ongoing allegations of massive corruption from the Trump administration. Trumps response was to twitterly instruct his minions to make up fake transcripts to counter the real ones. Again he seems to be acting exactly as an innocent man who did nothing wrong would act.
Yet despite the mounting pile of impropriety the Republicans are sticking by their man. To me they are playing this game as if their poker hand is actually better and that reality will fold and accept their narrative. They may be right but the momentum isn’t in their favor, for the first time in this Presidency the Republicans are on the defensive.
Who’s to say what will happen, The United States of America could still succumb to sycophancy but the momentum is in truth’s hands for now.
Oh and Jeffrey Epstein’s suspicious seems to have succeeded in covering up the alleged international pedofile ring he ran. The alleged rich and powerful people on all sides of the political spectrum, who were implicated in his crimes seem to delayed their outing.
