Grief feels like wishing You were Dead;
because You don’t want to live in a world without Them;
grief is gradually wrong.

Addiction feels like running away from Death,
knowing he’ll catch You,
you also want him to catch You,
because Addiction is all You got.

Depression can’t change the past, nor will it stop trying.
Anxiety is the procrastination of courage.
Escapism is porn, but I’m a homebody.

Consuming feels really good, it’s intoxicating,
Fixing feels relieving, even satisfying,
Creating hurts until it fills the void.

Kneading feels like someone needing you,
Satisfying similarly; Bread is home.
And Home is wherever You are.
